Brian Donohoe – Saxophone Bruce Saunders – Guitar Daniel Foose – Bass David Sierra – Drums Oscar-nominated musician and composer Brian Donohoe has performed and recorded worldwide across an astonishing range of genres, from Bruno Mars and the Black Pumas to early works of Snarky Puppy and his own funk-fusion band, Progger. Growing up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, he absorbed jazz, art-rock, and soundtracks alongside hip hop, gangsta rap, and death metal, all while honing his skills on piano, guitar, saxophone, bass, and clarinet. At the University of North Texas, Brian recorded four albums with the Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band and contributed compositions to Snarky Puppy’s early, Grammy-winning records before spending the next decade touring and producing multiple albums with Progger while working as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger. Since moving to Austin in 2018, Brian has collaborated extensively with Grammy-winning producer and Black Pumas co-founder Adrian Quesada, contributing to Quesada’s solo projects as well as music for Molly Burch, Jaime Wyatt, and Abraham Alexander. He now teaches composition and piano at Austin Community College, serves as a proud member of the Recording Academy and AFM Local 433, and continues to write and record in his home studio when not performing or traveling. Outside of music, Brian practices kung fu, spends time in nature, and enjoys life with his wife. Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy!
