With 27 solo albums, multiple Grammy nominations, and a fearless embrace of genre-crossing innovation—from his jazz-Americana fusion Soulgrass to his electrifying VansBand Allstars—Evans has consistently redefined modern jazz. His latest release, Who I Am, features a powerhouse lineup including Béla Fleck, Victor Wooten, and John Medeski, blending virtuosic improvisation with deeply personal songwriting that reflects a lifetime of musical exploration and evolution. About The Texas Jazz & Blues Camp: Texas Jazz & Blues Camp, (a program of New School of Music, Austin) is an all-embracing program focused on musical and personal growth where our students can learn by hearing the greats on our staff and each other.
