Through the years Cosmic Intuition has been a staple of the Austin scene, performing at The Victory Grill, McCullough Theatre, Boyd Vance Theatre, Mabee Ballroom, The Spider House Ballroom, King-Seabrook Chapel and many other venues. Several great Austin Musicians have been members of Cosmic Intuition including Ephraim Owens, Martin Banks, Michael Malone, Richard Price, Melvin Welborn, Edwin Livingston and Chandra Washington to name a few. This event: "Improvisation Soundscapes" (A Concert for Human Harmony) is dedicated to Saxophonist/Flautist Bilal Sunni-Ali from Gil Scott-Heron & Brian Jackson's Midnight Band and the group he led for many years Song of Life Ensemble. Bilal came to Austin several times to perform with Cosmic Intuition, while Rashah and Bilal were very close Musical compadres for 27 years.
