Join us for a live taping and listening-room concert for the Adam Hutcheson/Russell Haight Quintet! Adam Hutcheson - Alto Saxophone Russell Haight - Tenor Saxophone Chris Villanueva - Piano Ryan Hagler - Bass Daniel Dufour - Drums Adam Hutcheson and Russell Haight currently serve on faculty together at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, where they teach saxophone, improvisation, and direct the jazz ensembles. Based in the Capital Region of New York, Haight has performed alongside luminaries such as Bobby Shew, Bill Watrous, Jim McNeely, George Duke, and formerly served on the jazz faculty at Texas State University 12 years before returning to New York to become the jazz coordinator at Skidmore College. Hutcheson, based in NYC, has had the honor of performing alongside some of New York’s first-call players including George Colligan, Victor Lewis, Glenn Zaleski, Dwyane Eubanks, and Mike Clark. Russell and Adam have performed together in the Skidmore Jazz Faculty Quintet but are excited to officially make their quintet debut together outside New York State at Monks Jazz Club. Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy! Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, but this event is BYOB.
