Shelley Carrol - Saxophone, Flute, and Vocals Michael Palma - Piano Jonathan Fisher - Bass Andrew Griffith - Drums Shelley Carrol is a celebrated jazz saxophonist with over 35 years of experience performing alongside some of the most iconic names in the industry. A senior member of the Grammy Award-winning Duke Ellington Orchestra, he has toured internationally for over 25 years, collaborating with renowned symphony orchestras and conducting masterclasses at leading universities. Shelley's rich career includes performing as a soloist and flutist with Sheryl Crow, touring with the Count Basie Band, and even sharing stages with Pink Floyd during their "In the Flesh" tour. Recognized for his dynamic improvisational skills and commitment to jazz education, Shelley has earned accolades such as the Jazz Legends Artist of the Year Award and Best Jazz Act by the Dallas Observer. Whether playing with the Count Basie Band, captivating audiences in intimate clubs, or mentoring the next generation of musicians, Shelley’s improvisational mastery and passion for jazz leave a lasting impression. Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy! Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, but this event is BYOB.
