Ryan Hagler - Bass Dayne Reliford - Piano Daniel Watson - Drums Austin native Ryan Hagler has been making music since the age of 10. Originally a trumpet player, Ryan later switched to electric and double bass. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in jazz studies from the University of North Texas. He spent two years as a member of the acclaimed One O'Clock Lab Band, with whom he recorded two albums, "Lab 2008", and the Grammy-nominated "Lab 2009." From 2012 to 2020, Ryan served as professor of bass and ensembles at the San Francisco University in Quito, Ecuador. He has performed across the United States, as well as in South Korea, Thailand, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, and Europe, including the Montreux, Umbria, and North Sea Jazz Festivals. He has shared the stage with Bernard Wright, Melissa Aldana, Aubrey Logan, Mike Moreno, Jeff Hamilton, John Riley, Misha Piatigorsky, Shelley Carroll, Jason Thomas, Ephraim Owens, Elias Haslanger and many more. Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy! Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, but this event is BYOB.
