Jessica Healey - Guitar/Vox Paul Deemer - Keys, Horns Cameron Riggs - Piano Liam Odell - Bass Mike Gordon - Drums Jessica Healey is a singer-songwriter and jazz vocalist in Austin, Texas. Brought up in Fort Worth, Jess moved to San Marcos where she earned her B.F.A in Acting from Texas State University. Post-graduation, she relocated to ATX and was warmly embraced by the vibrant live music scene. Jessica has been a featured artist in the SoFar Sounds ATX Concert Series (2024), the Austin Music Love House Concert Series (2024), and the ATX Songwriters Collective Showcase (2023 and 2024). While her solo acoustic act is comprised of top 40, pop, soul, indie-folk, Americana, country, jazz, and originals, she also performs as a vocalist for the blues band “King Daddy and the Flat 5” as well as “Jess + Paul," her jazz-acoustic ensemble which performed an official showcase at SXSW 2024. You can hear her two released singles “strange” and “at the time” wherever you stream music, or catch her playing live.  Paul Deemer is an Austin, Texas-based musician who plays trombone, drums, keyboard, and trumpet at home and abroad. He is currently playing and touring with The Polyphonic Spree, Calexico, Progger (an offshoot of Snarky Puppy), Brownout, and Summit Recording artists Jazzbonez. Paul and his horn section joined Austin’s own Gary Clark Jr. at the 2019 Austin City Limits festival. An adjunct professor, clinician, and lecturer of Jazz Trombone at The University of Texas at Austin and Texas State University, Paul also holds a Master’s degree in Studio Music and Jazz from the Frost School of Music in Miami, Florida. He has toured in over 7 different countries and recorded on over 50 albums and can be seen performing in the Austin area with his bands Dreemr and the Paul Deemer Quintet. Some of Paul’s career highlights include performing in the horn sections for Gary Clark Jr., Calexico, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Jackie Venson, Robert “Sput” Searight’s (Snarky Puppy) the Sput and Nate show, the Walkmen during FFFun Fest, and in the Grooveline Horn section for The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band. Paul teaches and gives clinics throughout the state of Texas. Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy! Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, but this event is BYOB. Ice will be available if needed, wine keys and 9oz cups provided! 22 free parking spaces onsite are first-come-first-serve. Doors at 7:45pm, Show at 8pm.
