Join us for a live taping and listening-room concert for Patrick Bartley Trio! Patrick Bartley - Alto Sax Russell Hall - Bass Stefan Klein - Drums The Patrick Bartley Trio is a special unit formed from a lifelong bond between Patrick and two of his closest friends and earliest musical collaborators – Russell Hall on bass, and Stefan Klein, Jr. on drums. After starting their first band together back in high school and not playing again for nearly 11 years, the group reunited in 2022 to make a fiery comeback album full of the same passion, energy, and naivete they once had in their younger years. This album, “FIRST SONG”, is a true homage to the early dreams and visions these players had, with all compositions being originals composed when they were in high school. It’s a sound filled with reverence and respect for the masters that have inspired them, combined with the added attitude of rebellion against the musical status quo. With new life breathed into these old dreams, Patrick, Russell, and Stefan all dedicate themselves to breaking new ground in jazz and taking the music to even higher levels. ——— Please Note: This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy! Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, but this event is BYOB.
